Joe Pilates To the Test – Meet Susan

Joe Pilates said, “In 10 sessions you will feel a difference, in 20 sessions you will see a difference, in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body!”  

I’m going to put that statement to the test.  I’ve asked one of my clients, who is highly motivated to get into better shape, to train with me 3 times per week for 10 weeks.  I am going to track her progress and results here on the blog.  She will also be sharing her experience with you on Wednesdays each week in my new post entitled Weigh In Wednesday!

Meet Susan Schulz.  Susan has been doing privates with me every other week for a little over a year.  She also takes my Sunflower Reformer class every week.  In the past year, Susan has seen some great results in her level of fitness.  She has improved her flexibility, she has gained strength and stamina and has developed a better understanding of the Pilates Method through her privates.  She has come a long way this year, but she’s not done.  She still has some goals she wants to attain and we are going to try to kick start her new year and her metabolism by doing this project.

The goal is to do 2 privates with me per week and one reformer class per week.  I want her to predominantly do pilates to see if she really does notice a difference after 10, 20 and 30 sessions.  That’s not to say that she isn’t doing cardio and other types of exercise each week, but I would like the focus and intensity to be on these sessions.
