The 5-4-3-2-1 Workout – Workouts that take 30 minutes or less!

Happy Holidays!  Merry Christmas!  Happy Hanukah!  Feliz Navidad!  Whatever Holiday you are celebrating we all know that this month gets CRAZY!  Holiday Parties, Christmas programs, shopping, baking, trimming the tree…..all these things are great and festive BUT they also cut into our workout time.  More often than not, we find that the workouts fall by the wayside to make room for the other things this holiday season.  Don’t fall victim to this scenario.  Carve out 30 minutes to get a workout in.  How can you get it all in in just 30 minutes?  Keep moving!  Don’t stop for breaks, just keep moving from one exercise to another to keep your heart rate up and be able to fit it in.  Just because it’s not an hour or more, doesn’t mean that it’s not effective.  Remind yourself that the benefits outweigh ditching the workout.

  • Decreases Stress
  • Energizes you by kicking in those positive endorphins
  • Burns a few calories (which is better than the alternative of NO calories burned!)
  • Keeps you on track to stay in shape and not gain those holiday pounds!
