Monday Morning Mat!

Hi!  I’m back to start the week off and the month off with Monday Mat!  This section of the Classical Pilates Mat Repertoire is my favorite part of the routine.  Mainly because of the planking, side planks and pushups.  It also comes towards the end of the Advanced Mat Routine so that revs me up and motivates me to finish strong when doing the whole routine.  This section as a stand alone workout is good….it makes you feels strong and athletic and flows well.

Please be careful when doing any inversion move such as Boomerang and Control Balance in this routine.  Make sure that you rollover onto your shoulders and NOT your neck.  Double check that your shoulders are on the floor when you rollover and don’t roll all the way onto your neck.
