Workout Wednesday – Pilates Wunda Chair Workout

Today’s Workout Wednesday Routine is on the Pilates Wunda Chair.  I shot this video for the Pilates Anytime Instructor Competition this year.  Alas, I did not make it into the finals, but I will try again next year.

The Pilates Wunda Chair is a very challenging piece of equipment and the springs are very heavy, so you need to be careful when getting on and off the equipment.  As always, make sure you work with a trained Pilates Instructor when doing these exercises and working with the equipment.

My friend and fellow instructor, Cyndi Moriatis is my model.  Cyndi and I do the Pilates Teacher Training in Manhattan Beach, California together each month.  She is the Director of Pilates at the Bay Club South Bay in Manhattan Beach.

The routine starts off with flexion, then goes into some extension exercises and then finishes strong with standing lunges.
