What The Fashionista!

Rowena seen here in the Alo Yoga Moto leggings

My friend Rowena is always wearing cute clothes and accessories and she LOVES to shop, so I half jokingly asked her to be my fashionista for WTF – so she sent me all of this stuff!!!! Good stuff, good reviews! She picked stuff that isn’t your ordinary Lululemon or Athleta gear that we typically see…she reviewed some cute brands that you don’t often see in stores.  It’s nice to see it online, but even better to have someone tell you they bought it and tried it.  Read on!

New Balance (NB) Studio Skin

This is the best shoe for yoga, Pilates, dance or anything in the studio.

Look is only the by-product.  It really feels good on.  It has good traction and most of all it keeps the ball of my feet happy.

You can wear this inside your outer shoes too if one desires.

I have worn this for 2 weeks now.  Wonder how long it lasts if I wear this almost daily.

Think I may order another pair in a different color.

Their legging prints look very interesting, not boring, not sure of their quality.  I usually like to touch and feel the material before I buy, but they don’t have a store.  I just ordered the Juliet bra.  Will try it out first before going further.  I’ll keep you posted!

I came by their flagship store/yoga studio in Beverly Hills.   They serve Stumptown coffee.👍

Too BH (Beverly Hills) for me, so don’t expect good service.  The only thing that I find extraordinary is their Moto legging in many color variations.

Some of their prints are ok, but not that outstanding.  I do like the Moto legging, I bought 2 colors.  I may try their high waisted Moto next time.  But the regular one is fine really.  Their legging fits better than Yogasmoga’s, quality is better too.

Tops and jackets I will pass.  I prefer mix and match anyway.

I notice that their legging material is soft and comfy, material feels a little thinner than most.  Doesn’t mean quality is poor, but when material is thinner, cameltoe maybe an issue. I mean who wants camel toe?

I bought a “Vivacity” crop, good design.

I bought one reversible crop called “Boulder”.  I like it a lot (not for yoga), more for water sports.  It’s a little like wetsuit material, in that it is of thicker material, but they don’t carry it any more, I think because of the price.

****Until the end of the year when you bring in an old pair of leggings, you get a new pair at 50% off – not a bad way to try a new product!!!!

There you have it – some good workout clothing reviews from Rowena!

Thanks Rowena!  🙂
