Sculpted Arm Routines

I get asked a lot by my students what I do for my arms.  Here it is!  No heavy weights, just some 2-3lb weights and these arm routines.   Sundresses, tank tops, bikini’s – you’ll be all set with these workouts.

I typically do an arm routine similar to this 3 times per week.  I also supplement with pullups and dips about 2 times per week.  Plus I do Pilates everyday making sure I do an arm series in my Pilates routine.

You don’t need to lift heavy weights, just use your body’s own resistance.  The tip is to not drop your arms.  Keep them lifted.  This is muscle endurance at it’s best.  You never see a ballet dancer with bad arms, and they never lift weights.  But they do hold their arms out all the time as a form of expression in their dance and this utilizes all sorts of muscles to do this.  If you have any shoulder issues, just do the routines without weights.

Tracy Anderson is a well known fitness professional that trains such celebrities as Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney Cox.  If you google her or go to YouTube, you will find a bunch of videos from her to give you inspiration!  Might as well not re-create the wheel, eh?
