Here’s the Plan
Warmup. Do 5 minutes of Cardio for your arms on the Rowing Machine or Arm Ergometer
Workout. Follow my Super Sexy Sculpted Arms Video for the toning portion of your workout
Finish. Do 5 more minutes of Cardio for your arms on the Rowing Machine or Arm Ergometer. If you have the option, I recommend doing whichever machine (the rower or ergometer) you didn’t do for the warmup.
Tips:
While using the Rowing machine, focusing more on the pull of the arms rather than the push of the legs. Try both an overhand and an underhand grip to maximize the use of the muscles in your arms and back
Next try doing 5 minutes on the Arm Ergometer. The Arm Ergometer is like a bike for your arms. Instead of pedaling your legs, you use your arms. “Pedal” your arms forward for a few minutes and then reverse your “pedal” the other way.
You not only will get some toning for your arms but you will also get your heart rate up!
Why do I suggest only 5 minutes? BECAUSE IT’S BORING AS HELL! At least on the treadmill or elliptical you can read a magazine – so make sure you’ve got some good tunes to play!
The smaller muscles of the arms also tire out more quickly than the more powerful ones of your legs and glutes so you probably won’t be able to go for as long on these machines as you would on the treadmill or elliptical. But by all means, do more time on either of these pieces of equipment if you like! 🙂
