Do you have company in town and need some ideas on things to do? Something other than the usual tourist attractions? Here are a few ideas. Best of all they are all outdoors! Hopefully the weather cooperates!
1. The Wave Organ. Located on the Marina Green you will find an organ of sorts that will “play music” when the waves crash and splash against the underwater openings of the organ. Check it out!
2. Billy Goat Hill Rope Swing. Located at Glen Park on Beacon Street. Fly out over the city on a 10 meter rope swing!
3. Art in the Presidio. Andy Goldsworthys 3 installations using felled cypress and eucalyptus trees. Sounds interesting.
4. Seward Street Slides. Located at Seward and Douglass. Bring some cardboard to slide down the slide.
5. Off the Grid or Soma StrEat Food Park. Still hungry but don’t want turkey leftovers? Check out either of these locations for some good eats!
And….if the weather doesn’t cooperate there is always the
6. Etsy Indie Holiday Emporium. Located at Pier 35 from 11am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday Nov. 28th and 29th.
