Your Health and Fitness Journey at Any Age!

“Enjoy yourself – that’s what your 20s are for. Your 30s are to learn the lessons. And your 40s are to pay for the drinks!” Carrie Bradshaw SATC

Ok, so it’s not a fitness quote or even an inspirational one at that, but there is some wisdom in there!  In my 20’s I enjoyed myself and worked out, but I worked out without a plan or a care.  I was teaching many, many classes a week and doing some personal training.  I was just going with the flow.

In my 30’s I started to get serious about my fitness and put some structure into my program.  I also took my classes and clients more seriously and started to really hone and develop my career.

In my 40’s I’ve gained the wisdom and confidence to know what works and what doesn’t as it pertains to my own fitness and to that of my clients.  I have a plan for what I want to do going forward with my health and fitness.  I’ve got goals that I’m re-evaluating and others that I’m reaching for.  My 40’s so far are very satisfying!

Looking ahead to my 50’s and beyond, I can’t say what it holds for me or what I want to attain, other than to stay fit and healthy.

So……I decided to start a new segment on WTF – Your Health and Fitness Journey at Any Age!  I’d like to know what you are currently doing at your age to achieve your health and fitness goals.  What advice would you give your younger self?  What advice would you like to learn from someone older than you?  I’m hoping to inspire and learn from this segment.  What could I do better?  What can I start to do now that will help me in the future?

So many of you out there are role models!  I’ve got students in their 80’s who inspire me every day!  I’d like to start a dialogue and discussion on what we can do to stay healthy and fit at ANY AGE!

Be watching for this as a regular feature in future posts!  I’m going to feature women of all ages and hear from them on what they are doing now and what they want to learn and be doing in the future!

Also, please share now any advice that you may have or what advice or topics you’d like to hear about in future posts!
